Isis

Here is a sketch card of Isis that I drew for the LEGENDS & LORE card set. Sketch card measures 2.5" x 3.5".

This is one of my Artist Return Cards from the Legends & Lore Card Set.

Isis – Egyptian Great goddess of life, death and rebirth. Daughter of Earth and sky. Mother of Horus the falcon god. Wife of her brother Osiris, the god-king of vegetation and eternal life. She gave life after death to her husband. The eternal salvation that she could bestow was originally (in the Bronze Age) only for the god-king but gradually, as the cult became democratic in the Iron Age, it became available to all humans.

I had my husband (Tony Perna) help me with some of this. Mostly penciling the background & the position of her wings.
